You will try unconventional painting, photo transfer, and texturing techniques as you explore a wide variety of media like paint, paper, fabric, simple printmaking, and found objects. Mixed media is all about trying new things and letting your creativity take you where it wants to - join us to discover and nurture your creative side while creating unique, layered compositions!

Creating Collage Papers Without a Gel Plate
Bring your acrylic paints and spend the afternoon creating a pile of collage papers using five different techniques! We will experiment with wet strength tissue paper, regular tissue paper, deli paper and copy paper.
You will: Make a variety of hand-painted papers to use in collages and mixed media projects using stencils, bubble wrap, alcohol and plastic wrap. Layer textures and colors for interesting effects.
